Creation of a website

Building this website had been incredibly representative of where I am in my life today: not complete, but ready to go out into the world. If we only went out into the world when we are complete, feeling fully confident, we would never make it out our front door.

Having to think about not just who I am, but the parts of myself I want to share with the world, the parts of myself I am most PROUD of, has been a beautiful experience. My acting teacher has been telling us our resumes are not a history of our performance, but a roadmap to our futures. (Sorry EJY I slightly butchered that) I was thinking about that a lot in this creation process.

A couple weeks ago I was talking to my professor and I said something I have always believed about myself, but I rarely say out loud: “I am going to change the world.” It was something I will do one day…something I need to achieve…it was said as a dream, almost unreal, almost unattainable. Creating this website, looking deeper into what I have done, I realized I HAVE changed the world. And the world has changed me. Every day, each of us is changing the world. Whether it be changing an individuals world, changing society, or changing the spiritual and cosmic universe, each of us has that power. It is just about being aware of our actions to make sure we are using that power to change the world in a positive manner.

So, even though this website will continue to change and expand, and I will change and expand, out into the world it goes! As bravely and sincerely as it can.
