About me

I am the transgender, non-binary child of two pastors.

I learned the power of stories in church. I learned what it means to act in service of a better world. Every day I work to live into that mission.

Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, and small towns in rural Alabama, I’ve seen the beauty and the broken in both communities. For all the injustice present, there is community built to resist the injustice, support each other, and create art. This community is what I identify as the culture of the American South, and the culture that is woven into me.

My calling as an actor, community builder, writer, poet, and servant leader stems from the mission to use my gifts in service of a better world and the culture of community I was raised in.
